Dr. Kelly Ann Colby is a child and adolescent psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders, OCD, phobias, and panic in children, adolescents, and transitional age youth.
She completed her APA-accredited internship at The Guidance Center, Inc. in Leavenworth, KS, where she trained in child and family services alongside neuropsychological assessment, and was accepted to a postdoctoral fellowship at CBTeam in Lexington, MA, where she received training and supervision from experts who helped lead McLean's OCDI and Boston Children's Hospital in CBT and ERP. Dr. Colby also completed a clerkship in neuropsychology at NAC Clinic (Previously NP Evaluation) in Brookline, MA. Prior to starting her private practice, Dr. Colby was employed as the clinical psychologist and consultant for Groton School, supporting students while working alongside a multidisciplinary health care team.
Dr. Colby holds a masters in professional psychology and a doctorate in clinical psychology with a concentration in health psychology. She has published work on the psychological and physiological impacts of exposure to chronic stress and enjoys treating health-related concerns such as health anxiety and needle phobias. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. She believes therapy should function as a space where clients can reflect on their concerns, explore new solutions, and learn skills that truly make life feel more manageable.
